8. The Mysteries of the Rosary:A Contemplative and Meditative Journey With Color
Adult Coloring BookAn aid to the meditative and contemplative journey of the Rosary, text from Sacred Scripture is given for each of the twenty 'mysteries' of the Rosary. The design that accompanies the Biblical reference is NOT directly connected to the mystery- it provides a focus while contemplating on that mystery. (See sample pages below)
The intent of this publication is to use the coloring process, itself and the side effects from putting the person coloring these patterns, into a relaxed and perhaps meditative set of mind.
The ultimate goal, that some may not immediately reach, without practice is to focus the mind, on the mystery of the rosary, while engaged in the repetitive coloring itself.
Some will even be able to go beyond this level and actually recite the prayers of the Rosary while engaged with coloring and reflection on the Sacred Script.
